Reinad manufactured jewelry between 1922 and 1954. Reinad Fifth Avenue made jewelry for other companies, including Boucher, Carnegie, and Eisenberg. They also had a retail novelty line named Chanel Novelty Co. which was short-lived because of a conflict with Coco Chanel jewelry which objected to the use of the name "Chanel." The jewelry that Reinad marketed was excellent quality using classic designs and top grade materials. It is rare in the collectible market. Jewelry marked SCEPTRON features classic 1940s retro designs and is made using sterling silver.
Robin Deutsch wrote a wonderful detailed piece about
REINAD for Costume Jewelry Collectors International—a very good read.
